The 6 stages of vehicle repairs
Stage 1 -
We will carry out an inspection of your damaged vehicle and provide you with an estimate. We will forward this estimate to your insurance company and then deal with all the administration. Please remember that you only need to obtain one estimate for your insurance company. This means that the repair process can start as quickly as possible.
We deal with insurance claims everyday and fully understand what a daunting and confusing process this can be, especially if it is your first time. Allow us to alleviate any stress and guide you through the differnt stages involved from reporting a claim to collecting your vehicle following repairs.
Stage 2 -
Once an estimate has been compiled and forwarded on to your insurance company, we will then agree figures with your insurance company's engineer.
Stage 3 -
We will schedule the repair of your vehicle and order any parts, which are required. At this stage we will contact you to check the date is convenient for you and arrange the free use of one of our courtesy cars.
Stage 4 -
Autocrash technicians take over your damaged car, as it goes through the various workshop stages from adding new components or colour matching the required part to ensure complete colour accuracy. Once the vehicle has been sprayed it is allowed to cure at a high temperature in the spray booth.
We will keep you updated on your vehicles progress.
Once repairs are complete, a member of our management team will carry out a full quality inspection.
Stage 5 -
A member of our reception team will contact you to arrange collection of your vehicle.
Stage 6 -
On handover, we will fully explain all work that has been carried out on your vehicle and will ask you to sign a collection note to confirm you have received the vehicle back into your care.
At no stage will this affect your statutory rights or warranty.
